Maintenance Contact
We need people to be Maintenance Contacts or backups for several of our units. Here is your chance to do some rewarding repair work helping a good cause!
Family Contact
We are searching for two volunteers to be Family Contacts, one for a unit in Tukwila
and one for a unit in Renton . A
Family Contact is the primary contact for a guest family in one of our
units.
They check on the condition of the house prior to a family moving
in and again when they depart. They contact the family regularly to determine how they are getting on and if they are making progress
toward self-sufficiency. This can be a rewarding experience for a
volunteer.
Board Members
We need people who will attend 2-3 evening meetings/month and assist in the decision making at these meetings. Don't say you can't make a difference, because you can!
Special Projects Members
These are generally one day projects to prepare a unit for the next family and involves clean-up and repair work. What about a group from work spending a few hours bonding together on a worthwhile project? Talk about quality time together!
